Digital health, which has the ability to help in many areas of eye care, is especially impactful in AMD. Adding digital health to office-based care, for example, enhances the ability to detect wet AMD conversion and initiate treatment earlier, so patients have a better chance at preserving vision over the long haul, he noted.
